I have written before about the state of distraction in contemporary art. Both fashion and art have so much cultural production it is nearly impossible to keep up. There are endless fashion sites that scout the best, but less in art. The absolute best scout on the gallery scene is Contemporary Art Daily. It is so amazing how just 10 years ago this instant snapshot of the collective aesthetic consciousness simply would not have been possible.
