Weird case of the Chloé's

I'm wearing; Chloe silk eyelet top, (faux?) Chloe silk eyelet skirt, H&M scarf (wrapped and tied) Miista Naia huarache platforms.

What I have here is a weird case of the Chloé's....

I bought the top at Tokio7 (a consignment shop in NY) and the skirt at some kind of vintage market event, also in NY. Both the Top and Skirt are silk and have the same eyelet pattern, only the top is an off-white/cream color and the skirt is a real white.. they both have a Chloé label but different from each other, with the Skirt being made in China..

The top is way more delicate in design and detailing so I expect the skirt to be a knock-off Chloé, weird though that they bothered to counterfeit in pure silk, no?

Anyway, the top and skirt go beautifully together and were perfect to show off my new Naia platforms from Miista :)
